October 7, 2026--Having 80+ Parker Lord employees in our middle school building, sharing their career expertise and knowledge with our students, was an incredible opportunity, to say the least!

The hands-on learning stations gave our students the opportunity to get creative, explore new ideas, and make meaningful, real-world connections to what they are learning every day in school through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).

Special days like this are exactly what help connect the “why” to learning and education. Often times, such experiences help students understand how the knowledge and skills they are developing in the classroom connect to the real world and their future opportunities.

On behalf of the Northwestern Middle School faculty, staff, administration, and Board of Education, I want to personally thank the 80+ Parker Lord volunteers for investing their valuable time and energy in our students. Your willingness to share your expertise, engage with our students, and provide such meaningful hands-on experiences made a lasting impression on the young minds of Northwestern Middle School.

Thank you for helping our students see that what they learn today can make a difference in the world of tomorrow. We are truly grateful for your partnership and the impact you made on our students!
